35 years old. Latina. Single, but in a long-term relationship. I'm an Aries with a quick temper, a massive stubborn streak, and the tendency to procrastinate liek whoa, but I can be a good friend, and try to be cool to people when I meet them.

I'm an unrepentant fangirl, and am irredeemably compelled to lust after hot men. In the past, I've written both het and slash fanfic, and make no apologies for any of it, since I think it's hot. If you're interested reading any of my writing, you can find it all at Thoughts, Plots and One-Shots, which is my Friends Only fic archive. I haven't written anything in years, but who knows? I might pick it up again someday. :)

Currently, I've gone back to school to finish my degree in International Business over at St. Edward's University in Austin, so expect a lot of blogging these days about my classes, my teachers, and my progress towards my degree. I'm also considering going to graduate school so I can get an MBA, and if I do attend, expect lots of writing about that, too. Hehe.

I'm a gamer and spend a lot of time alternating between the worlds of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, Lord of the Rings Online, and City of Heroes. Right now, Warhammer is my focus. I'm loving the game Mythic have created, and am enjoying getting my newfound love for PvP on. ;)

I live in Austin and have three cats-- Sam, Sushi, and Bruce (named after the actor, the chin, the legend himself-- Bruce Campbell), who I call Big Papa because he's a sweet, mussed-up orange fluffball of cute and aww. ;)

Musical tastes are all over the map, ranging from the music I grew up with in the 70's and 80's, to certain artists that are around now (Muse, Coldplay, Tori Amos, Radiohead, Placebo, The Hives, AFI, The Flaming Lips, The Mars Volta, and The White Stripes, to name a few), to classical music and Latin pop/rock en español artists like Juanes, Shakira, Paulina Rubio, Julieta Venegas, La Oreja de Van Gogh (my favorites!) , Belanova, Alejandro Fernández, Alejandro Sanz, Reik, and Maná. I adore everything Harry Potter, Firefly/Serenity, Monty Python, Clerks, Dogma, Evil Dead, The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, Doctor Who, and The Lord of the Rings.

I also have the occasional tendency to rant about politics here. My views skew towards the left side of the spectrum, but I have friends who are decidedly right-wing. Political ideology doesn't matter to me-- just being a cool human being does, even if we otherwise disagree. :)

Friending policy-- I'm open to meeting new people all the time, so if you want to friend me, that's fine. Just comment in one of my entries to let me know you're there. I can be oblivious at times.
